The following are ongoing gigs I try to do every week when in San Francisco.
These open mics are considered "work-out" rooms for comics. A place for comics to work on new bits. These places can be very fun for audiences due to the more intimate nature and the chance to see pros work out kinks. I can't recommend open mics enough, go to your local open mic and SUPPORT your local comedians!

Every Monday Seabiscuit Open Mic
This is a great little open mic on Noriega in the Sunset District. Plenty of parking, free admission and a fun, intimate atmosphere! Show starts at 8pm.

Every Tuesday Canvas Art Gallery Open Mic
This is a great open mic that started out once a month and has been so popular, it is now held once a week. It's located right next to Golden Gate Park at 9th and Lincoln. Admission is free and they have a full bar and food. Come on down and watch comics work out...without all the sweating and grunting you hear at the gym! (There are still old men's balls in the locker room though)
